I am convinced that there is a virus that attacks the brain and sucks out IQ points. I call it the Stupid Bug. Not a day goes by that I don't see someone suffering from this malady. And it is spreading at an alarming rate. And it is either getting worse, or maybe with the population growth I just see more of them, but their everywhere. And there seems to be no cure.

This is caused by man's determination to preserve life. The natural selection is out the window and we are polluted with all the idiot genes.

There is a cure, but not many can handle it.

There is a cure, but not many can handle it. All those who discovered the cure found it when they joined the Darwin's Club.

It's caused by grey hair. When the hair starts turning grey, it's because it's sucking out the grey matter in the brain, which changes the pigment color of the hair to grey. BTW, I've got lots of grey hair all over.

I considered saying something along those lines, but was unsure of how it would be received.

I don't have any gray hair yet. Of course, it may be caused by wrinkles too, so I better shut up before my stupidity shows.

Bingo. This is the result of decades of social programs that prevent natural selection combined with even more social programs that reward those people for having more children. Additionally, although education is not necessarily an indicator of intelligence, most intelligent people at least make an attempt at getting a decent education as well, and many studies have shown that the higher the education level, the fewer kids people are likely to have. So intelligent people are simply being bred out of society.

so, intelligent people should spend their time and money on having more children instead of more stuff. They could spend their money on college instead of cars and boats and shoes, etc. I think it can work. Lets tell them what to do and they should do it. Right? Jim

Don't bet on it. Intelligent people know the world is overcrowded already. The simple solution therefore would be to eliminate the incentives for stupid people to procreate.
