Sorry officer, I did not see you, as the glare of the sun apparently hid you from my view.
I sure wouldn't want anything to happen to you as I appreciate the job that you and all law enforcement do to keep us safe.
If I alarmed you I apologize from the bottom of my heart. If I were in your shoes I would be a nervous wreck over what just ocurred.
Thank you for the job that you do.
He most likely understands the mistake he made but he is the law, you don't want to mess with the law, you could get burned by someone in uniform having a bad day that decides to take things out on you, and its his word against yours.
Yes sir, no sir, is how I address officers and I always appreciate the job they do, serving and protecting, putting their lives on the line every day they put the uniform on.
I'm sorry this happened to you Keith, I see you were obviously shaken by the event as was the police officer.
Not all cops are nice guys, neither are all doctors or mail men, whatever, but IMO they deserve our respect until they have crossed the line and put themselves above the law.
Sarge, I know you were being sarcastic when you said Keith shouldn't have swerved, at least I hope you were.
