Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Bundles

    * 4 cloves minced garlic
    * 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
    * 1/4 cup olive oil
    * 1 lb fresh asparagus
    * 1/2 lb raw bacon
   

   1. Saute garlic and parsley in olive oil over low heat, then set aside.
   2. Separate bacon and lay flat on large cookie sheet. bake 10 min. at 400°F. Let cool slightly before going to next step.
   3. Remove any tough ends from asparagus.
   4. Lay 4 stalks of asparagus in the center of each strip of bacon.
   5. Wrap bacon up and around the stalks.
   6. Drizzle garlic oil over each bundle.
   6. Place asparagus bundles on baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes or until asparagus is tender and bacon is crisp.
