Even though my kid did not do a great job on getting the picture in focus the queen is easy to find. This hive was 12 days old when this picture was taken and they have several frames looking like this.

Nice photo. This will be the first year for me going foundationless. Hope starts out looking as good as that.

Here is that same frame just 5 days later, you can see what looks to my to be a nice brood pattern.

Well, I get my package on the 28th so Ill see how they do, Hopefully just as good as your pictures. I am using some old plastic frames I cut out to make foundationless. I think Ill spray the starter strip areas with sugar water to help. Great pictures.
