sweet
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Man mowing his yard and nearly ran over them. All piled on the ground in 10 inch high grass. I set the box down and watched them march in. Not much story to tell. Next thread more exiting.

I removed some bees in Harahan, Louisiana about four years ago in an abandoned blue raised house.

The hive had thrown off a swarm in the neighbor's yard, they too were in a big wad right in the grass, but the neighbor and I hadn't met yet and he didn't know what to do so their outcome was not good.

I think about that one to this day, if only I could run across one like that again.

NO!  I wished for world peace, not whirled bees!

Nice little swarm there.
