I really don't know much about them. He said they're smaller than the Italians. And more docile. Here they are! I have my first hive! There is a second swarm coming too! So I had him buy me another hive!

Ralph just called me and let me know the second swarm is "sitting out on the front porch".  He hopes they don't swarm BEFORE the paint dries on my second hive box!

Now I get to drive them home, in the back of my Honda CRV. I can see it now. The wire mesh come loose and I have a huge vortex of bees swirling around in my car in the middle of Atlanta.
