Come to Australia
« on: April 12, 2009, 07:05:14 PM »
Here is a  nice little ditty that all of you over there will appreciate is dedicated to those who want to  come over here but wont because of all the "bities"  :-D

Mick
On the outer Barcoo where the churches are few,
   And men of religion are scanty,
On a road never cross'd 'cept by folk that are lost,
   One Michael Magee had a shanty.

Now this Mike was the dad of a ten-year-old lad,
   Plump, healthy, and stoutly conditioned;
He was strong as the best, but poor Mike had no rest
   For the youngster had never been christened,

After viewing this (yes I found it funny) I went looking at other things that were offered. There was an old song listed that I liked, but never really understood. "Waltzing Matilda".

Now for the average American to under stand this you have to watch this video;

Then for the real laugh watch this one.

There is language in the last one.
