1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup Self-rising corn meal
1 can (15 oz. ) Creamed Style Corn
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 Onion, diced
1/4 cup Sweet Bell Pepper, diced (optional)
chopped Jalapeno Peppers, (to Taste ) (optional)

Preheat oil to 375* F.
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
Mix Egg and creamed corn in a separate bowl;
Add to dry ingredients.
Stir well. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Drop by heaping teaspoon fulls into hot oil.
Fry for 3 - 5 minutes,.. or until golden brown.

* This is enough for a family of four, maybe even six
of ya.
