It is my pleasure to bring the forums to you.

2 acorn squash, halved (you can use any winter squash)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 baking apples, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons raisins
3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice

Sprinkle squash with salt.
In skillet, saute apples and raisins in butter.
Add sugar, cinnamon, and allspice, cook for 5 minutes.
Spoon into squash halves.
Place in baking dish and cover loosely with aluminum foil
Bake at 350* for about 1 hour or until tender
