Awesome Cranberry Pork Roast by MaBuzzbee

Cranberry Pork In the Pot Recipe

    * 2 tablespoons butter
    * 2-3 lbs boneless pork roast
    * 1 (1 1/3 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
    * 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
    *1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    * 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
   
   
   1. Mix onion soup mix and spices then rub on pork roast
   2. Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling, add pork roast and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until browned (4 to 6 minutes).
   4. Place in slow cooker.
   3. Spread cranberry sauce on top of pork roast.
   5. Cover, cook on Low heat setting for 4 to 6 hours or until roast is fork tender.
   6.  Serve with juices.
   

I slow roasted this in a 215F oven instead of using the crock pot.  And I also added cornstarch to thicken the juices before serving.
