Barbecued Spareribs with Honey Ginger Glaze


2 slabs spareribs - about 3 pounds each.
1 cup catsup 1/4 cup honey 1 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp corn starch 1 med onion,
2 tbsp lemon juice chopped
2 large cloves garlic, crushed


Pour water in 2 shallow broiler pans. Place ribs on a rack over
water. Cover with foil. Bake 1 hour until tender. In saucepan mix
remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat & simmer 5 minutes.
Remove foil and pour out water from pans. Brush generously with sauce
and broil 3 - 4 inches from heat source for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn &
repeat with other side. Serves eight.
