New Bee

« on: March 07, 2009, 08:24:25 AM »

Checked the hive yesterday and there were several drones with capped drones as well.  Temp was 64 degrees and had a mission to find the queen and mark her.   Mission accomplished! cheesy  I called Chadwell Bee supply to ask for some advice and he couldn't believe I had drones already.  The hive is in Jamestown, TN up on the Cumberland Plateau.  It is normally 5-10 degrees colder there being up on the plateau.  Jamestown is about 15 miles South of the Kentucky Border.
