You will notice we just added a ShoutBox and Chat to the forum to allow members to easily communicate in real time.
It is fully integrated in the forum so there is no need to have separate passwords or multiple log ins.
To enter the chat rooms, simply click on "CHAT" in the menu bar.
If you want to have a quick chat with someone and don't need all the features of the chat room, you can simply use the ShoutBox at the top of the forum.
If you care not to see the ShoutBox while you cruise the forums, simply minimize it by clicking on the minus sign in the upper left corner. This setting is persisted, so each time you return to the forum, the ShoutBox will be the way you left it after your last visit.
Actually we are having issues with the persistence and working on getting it corrected You can also see the users that are currently in the chat rooms on the bottom of the home page with the other statistics.
By default, we have muted the sound. If you would like to turn it on, or need to turn it off again, simply visit the chatroom and you will find a small control panel at the bottom right where you can adjust your settings.
