Cindi, love that song, just beautiful and powerful, you picked a great one for your wedding. This one, I believe Jerry posted, a liitle while back. Caution: grab the cleanex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8590o8A4iU8...JP The whole audience was chocked up JP and so was I. Boy it really makes you think how fast time goes by.

I think I am going to have to stop listening to these songs, this one made me cry like a baby. I didn't even know I was feeling so emotional tonight

John, I can't take credit for passing this along to you, it was pretty wonderful though. My wife and I love our pets very much and it would indeed be wonderful to be reunited with them again one day. Sometimes people say, I had a dog yrs ago and when it passed I was heart broken, just can't go through that again, and so they miss out on having other ones come into their lives, blessing them with all the special things they have to offer and enrich our lives. Besides having pets makes us better people. ...JP

John Denver did one of his last preformances here in Anacortes at the Memorial for Burl Ives. My oldest daughter (Future beekeeper and music teacher) got to talk with him and was in charge of the sound board for the performance. Sadly a few week later he was dead. We lost 2 great singers within a short period of time.

You did a good job Jerrymac. Wow I'll take Elvis when he was young. And the Go Go's are fun.

Cindi Lauper played at the PNC Bank Center (old Garden State Art Center) a few years ago and I missed out - I've always loved her and her energy, and got lucky to see the film of that event, it was GREAT.
She then was playing in Atlantic City last year with four other groups, I turned down that chance because I didn't care to see her with all the others. Now she is in an Asian and Australian tour, won't be back in the states until 2010 - I really hope to catch her this time, I think she really excites the audience and I want to see her live on stage. Man I passed up a great show at the Art Center, I won't make that mistake again.

That's one of my things, digging into the words and meanings. Comes from a class I had back in high school. This is the first song we dove into; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhdGkZ6Fngw (Embedding disabled, limit reached)
