Very good point. As the newbies will soon find out, there's more than one correct answer in beekeeping.

I got 30/50... That'll teach them to take over an empty hive.

25/50. I'm not disappointed, I've only had my hives for about three months and have been reading a lot.

32/50 - said I was "adequate" . . . if he only knew. But there aren't some of the questions that I've seen referenced in earlier posts. Maybe he changes the test questions from time to time.

I only got 25 or 50. I got a lot to learn....
Funny thing is I was rather suprised I did that good! I guess my research has stuck some of it in my old head.
Only had the hive for a little over a week. But did do a good bit of reading before that.

35 OUT OF 50. I didn't think it was that good, but They call that "formidable".

40/50. it says "you're an excellent beekeeper." considering i've only had them for six weeks, that seems a little premature...

Hi ALL
I scored a 38. I just got started this spring and it has been a wild ride. I made a few mistakes but I have learned from them. All-in-all, this is the most fun i have had with a hobbyin years. My wife said I have too many hobbies so I will stick with just the bees.

Some call me a bee farmer, I prefer rancher. What with millions of tiny livestock foraging the open range, spring and fall round ups. Boy howdy branding their little butts sure is tedious.

23/50 but I know nothing and a lot of it doesnt apply to us, we have no snow, racoons or some of those diseases.

There are a few incorrect answers on the questionnaire. There are also a couple of dated questions. An example is about the "latest report" of africanized bees found in the wing of a plane in South Carolina. This was from 2002 which is rather dated compared to current reports of africanized bees in Florida. There is also a question about the various sugar contents of honey which states that sucrose is not a normal component of honey. Nectar as secreted by plants is sucrose which is then inverted by the bees to fructose and glucose. There is always a small amount of sucrose that is not inverted. It is typically 2% or less of the total sugar content of ripened honey. You can feed table sugar to bees and they will invert it from sucrose and make something similar to honey. The way you detect such adulteration is not by measuring the sucrose content, but rather by checking for the proteins made by sugar cane or sugar beets.
