Does that really happen though... :? (people getting killed) Or it that some urban legend propaganda crap put out by police, etc.
I grew up in the country, but have probably been involved in firing off thousands of rounds over the years, and have never heard of anyone ever being hit.
And no, I'm not kidding. It is something you hear every year. I was actually shocked by the lack of gunfire this year.
And yes, some have previously mentioned possible danger. Maybe that's why some shoot off their shotguns instead.
And nothing compares to fireworks in Europe. I did not make it back this year, but last year, and 2000 in particular, it was a like a war zone. And it is the one time of the year that you can legally fire off ship's warning flares, so they are all over the place lighting up the sky. (They can get rid of old flares this way)
And fireworks are not limited. You can buy great stuff that actually are beyond the sparklers and crap here. And if you can imagine, you can pump gas at a gas station, buy a box of fireworks, and buy a bottle of alcohol, all in one stop.
The crap they allow in the states.....suck!
