12+ million people who live in the US do not (should not) vote in US elections.
i am neither baptist, nor particularly religious, but if you use the bible as history, not only can you trace the lineage of jews but the nation of israel. if you read the bible as fact and believe prophecy as a literal picture of the future, you must believe that the end times prophecies are talking about an actual nation of israel attacked and protected by god. whether that is a current or future nation of israel remains to be seen. archeology as verified much of the history written in the bible and continues to do so.
all that aside, when a nation is attacked without provocation, they have the right to not only defend themselves, but eliminate the threat.
the US was the biggest single nation contributer in aid and money to the "palestinians". we do not contribute to the hamas section any more. that money was taken by the "palestinian" leaders and now banked for the comfort of their heirs in places like france....billions of dollars. imagine what could have been done with all that money and aid if the leaders had actually care about having a successful nation. the west bank continues to receive aid.
when the UN, in order to solve the european "jewish problem", gave the area of palestine over, it was to be divided 25% to the jews and 75% to the arabs so that they could created a nation of palestine to solve THIER OWN TERRORIST PROBLEM with the arab islamic movement. the arab countries failed to do this. instead, they called the arabs out of the area that had become israel and attacked. those called out of israel are the only legitimate occupants of the area of palestine and they were a small number. many have returned to israel to live and work, but you can understand why israel might be a little cautious about the intentions of a bunch of arabs living in their midst.
the rest of the so called palestinians are terrorist who were kicked out of egypt, jordan, lebanon, and syria. they were a terrorist movement dedicated to a united palestine under islamic rule. it would have included jordan, syria...etc. the descendants of these terrorists make up the majority of those who no call themselves "palestinian". the palestinian movement, under various faction names, began at the turn of the last century. a fair number of those who came out of that movement went on to join and form other terrorist groups.
that is the RD version.
