Just waiting for the bees
«

Here are my two hives, all ready and waiting for spring and bees. I am storing my supers on the empty hives over winter as I was running out of room in the house.

Nice looking hives. I have my boxes in the shop still, not all painted up.

Its been pretty unbearable since I decided to start, already been waiting 3 months, only 4 to go
Best thing about this time of year - NO MUD, kinda concerned about the animals though.

The waiting game is on for me too. I will have two new hives in the spring also starting. Did get my package bees ordered a couple days ago from Walter T Kelley Co. Going to pick them up in April. The long winter's wait is now on. Good luck in your beekeeping adventure.

You tell 'em Steve!!
The waiting was pure, unadulterated enthusiasm..(or it coulda been call "Torture" too)!
But, when the bees come, you'll see that it was worth every second of waiting!!
Truly, Ive never experienced anything like getting my first 2 packages of bees!!

john

heY Steve!!
Ive been around! I just havent posted too much lately!
Ive been in a Christian chat room/forum recently...My bees havent been talking to me much recently, other than a hello every now and then.
I dont go to church much so I figured on visiting the Christian chat..I like it ok, but once a person has been in here looking around these forums, its so plain to see the diffenece in the quality of how forums run! The Beemaster forums are by far managed better than any other forum Ive ever seen!!
But you know how it is sometimes...Gotta have a little diversity in ones life!
yeh, cabin fever has set in...My butts turned flat from all the sitting I've been doing!
your friend,
john
