12 different locations are now under control of Muslim madmen.

Hospitals, hotels, restaurants, train station, 200 dead. Situation is now under control of the Military after 30 or so police, the head of Mumbai's anti-terrorism unit and two other senior officers are among those killed, officials say

An unknown number of people are being held hostage in all these locations. Estimates range form hundreds to thousands.

British and Americans targeted. Indian authorities caught napping big time.

Mumbai is what most of you would know as Bombay btw. The place is not known for ease of getting information out quickly.

that was my first thought, but this may just be one of those  SH things.  we don't know how many planes around the world have been disrupted around the world.  one is bound to get through once and awhile.  attacks on soft targets are the easiest.

it is a shame....i had the live news from there streaming on my computer most of the PM yesterday.  they seemed to give the press a pretty free hand.  that's good.  people need to see.  here, we are already back to sleep on the terrorist issue.  it's a big shrug for most.

4 Australians have been killed in Mumbai. We lost another Digger from 4RAR in Afghanistan yesterday, KIA. So its been a bad week for us.

I really don't care what the nationalities are that are killed - it always bothers me that we hear four Americans were killed, or five, or twenty - they're people, they're dead, and I mourn every single victim.

Bad week?

Just in the past two days, right here in the U.S.....

Walmart employee trampled to death as shoppers break down the door.

Gunfire erupts at a mall in California as shoppers get into an argument.

A fetus was found at Detroit sewer plant that apparently was flushed down the toilet.

And this was just the stuff I caught trying to ignore the "Obama" hysteria being carried out in the news, which at this point borders on a cult following.

Don't get me wrong, I am saddened by the events in India. But I also need to keep it in perspective, that not long ago, some self-described anarchists, blew buildings up in the U.S., while forcing their views. And today, we invite them to speak at college campuses. So, these terrorists may be just a few years away from being heroes.

We will never be free from this terrorism. I hope we will be Strong enough in the future to confront it head on.
