observation hive vents

building some observation hives and need to find some small vents for them. can someone tell me where i can find them.

Are you talking about actual louvered type vents? Like on the sides of a house?
All the observation hives I have seen just uses #8 screen, on the inside portion of the hole.

yup, mine just have hole like door knob holes drilled around the frame. there are 3 top and bottom and 5 on the long side. one for each frame. they are screened from the inside.

they are about 1" around like the louvered type vents.

For the top I drill holes and put in #7 hardware cloth so I can feed some pollen. For the sides, I just cut a saw kerf slit for vents.
