Personally, I think it should be called "How the liberal media stole the election", but I guess that would be to long of a web address. I would like to focus on the media bias aspect and not get into the back and forth oboma/mccain points. For the sake of this discussion, let's just assume obama was just the benefactor of the media bias.
I'm sure some of you obama supporter's feel the ends justify the means, but I'm hoping there are a few that can see thru this whole scam.
Put obama and mccain aside for a moment, I personally find it most disturbing that people don't even know who is currently in control of the senate and congress. How can anyone make an informed decision when they don't know who has been in charge for the last 2 years? After all, it is the senate and congress (legislative branch) who make/pass the laws that control our economy, NOT the president. But I'm sure none of them would know that if asked. This is why I think there should be some type of civics test that needs to be passed before one can vote. Voting should be an earned right. I bet >75% of the population couldn't pass the test to become a US citizen. That is just sad :(
Even if you don't think the fact that obama's political career being kicked of in the house of an admitted terrorist, Joe Biden's record of plagiarism, or obama's statement on bankrupting the coal industry are important enough issues to base a decision on, should one at least be aware of these? Surely they are no less of an issue than Palin's $150,000 wardrobe or her daughter's pregnancy?
If one honestly looked at the media, it is quite obvious. I pointed it out to about a dozen or so non-political friends and relative prior to the election and just told them to keep it in mind as they watched/listened/read the news. I was amazed how many of them came back and said it was so obvious.
About 2 weeks before the election, I stopped listening to any news because I just couldn't take it anymore. I started listening to Coast to Coast AM and all the alien folks  just to get a way. It got so bad that I would swith to music CDs at the top of the hour because even the 2 minute news updates where so biased.
I still remember the last new blurb I listened to. "Sarah Palin fires another shot at obama" then a clip of palin saying obama has gotten ahead of himself again and has his inauguration speech written. Followed by"obama continues to rally support with his message of change" then a clip of obama claiming mccain wants to tax you for health care.
This continuous prefacing all mccain/palin coverage with attack, attack attack commentary and prefacing obama coverage with rally, change, hope commentary was like a subliminal message. Even though most of the obama clips where him going after mccain.
This whole thing has really bought into perspective a bumper sticker I saw that said "Don't be a sheep, say no to obaaaaaaama".
So can anyone honestly say the media didn't steal this election?
Just for the record, I didn't vote for either obama or mccain. I also find it quite ironic that the candidate that ran on change and new politics seems to be building a cabinet of the same old democratic cronies.
