 I need help somebody!
Mom( 80 years old) forgot her password to her Gmail account....Not only that, she cant remember the answer to her "Secret Question"...( The answer is Jones, for her first teachers name, but it wont take......I might be to blame for this problem as I'm the person who typed in her login information when I talked her into doing Gmail. There are "Reset" options with Google but it wont work for me if I cant get the secret question answered.
Anybody know what I can do?

john

Nawww, that wont work...I need to know the old one to create a new one.
Well, one thing for sure...Mom only has about 10 email contacts, so IF i have to change her account user name it should be a snap......But she will have to tell her friends what her new email address is..When she was Yahoo she always wondered why she didnt get email......Then, when I went to look at her contacts I saw where she had copied them wrong when she wrote them down. you know, .com, .nets, and missing numbers in peoples addresses She even had mine AND my sisters email addresses wrong huh
Moms actually pretty sharp for being 80, but I hate to see her all frustrated cuzza the "darn Thing"( thats what she calls it!

Try this one, go to Gmail help page, on right side of page is (Troubleshooting) click on (General issues) go to near bottom of page and click(I cannot access my account), type in user name and follow the pages that follow.
Hope that this helps.

Ok,...What I had to do was wait 24 hours....Then I accessed it from my house. For some reason I could reset the password from here with absolutely no probem after the 24 hours.....Mom still couldnt do it, but finally after 4 tries she miraculously got into her account!
She now has her password written down...So do I!
Thanks for the suggestions you guys!
