Too funny Kathy, I couldn't kick a mud pie now myself, because I haven't been eating as well, my gout is acting up and my toes and fingers hurt, why I'm up at this hour. Just had to take 4 ibuprofens to stop the swelling.

Hey, forgot to mention that guy that likes to play with small bees, ha ha!

I can't help to think that Jerry goes to sleep at night with some aluminum foil get up to keep the aliens from zapping his brain, hee hee (see Cindi, you're not the only one that uses hee hee!)

i am up early to go to my 0630 swim class.  maybe i'll work on flexibility just for you JP.

it is true that as we get older, our minds seem to mess up more.  i used to be able to pick words, quotes, thoughts, out and slap them down with out problem. now i have to go back and fact check things that i know i know.

maybe we just get to much crap in there?  my great grandmother was 101 when she died.  her mind was sharp.  her life was simple.  she baked, sewed, read, and watched As The World Turns

Cindi, I somehow missed the fact that Jody has gout also, Jody, we'll have to talk "gout".

Jerry just may be able to "think" my azz getting kicked, without being anywhere near me, IMO, 'till then I will visit Kathy's favorite site and prepare my aluminum beanie so that Jerry can't zap my brain!

I have not been on this site long. And I have never actually talked to John yet. Don't really know him but for a funny looking picture and him being the owner of the site. But after going through to the end of stage one Lyme 6 years ago, and having to be on meds three times since, I wish him all the best.

I know some are keeping this thread on the light side. But I wanted to chime in. I know several people who have had stage two Lyme, and although different than what John has, it is nothing to wish upon anyone.

My last bout with Lyme ended two weeks ago after three weeks on doxycycline. I was lucky the first time I had it as the doctor misdiagnosed it. I went back after waking up with arthritis like symptoms that to this day still makes my knees and hips hurt. I do not think I will ever be 100%.

All beekeepers, should be aware of Lyme and other disease that ticks carry.

Still reading and wondering as always how posts thread - lol, it is interesting.

Thanks again for the thoughts, I'm handling things ok - my typing adventures sometimes is more backwards than forward, without a backspace I doubt I'd write much. I hate to keep my long-winded writings too short, but it beats two hours at the keys sometimes   Good luck all.
