Why is Verison the preferred cell phone courrier for beer drinkers?

ATT/Cingular is contesting Verison's claim.  They are telling all beer drinkers who have cell phones that they have more bars in more places than any other courrier.

But I'm starting to wonder if the beer drinkers really care, and inpromptu survey out of Dog Patch U reports that most beer drinkers drown their cell phones in the suds.
