She was Beeyoooteefulll!!!! (and cute too!)
Yep, Christmas is all about money to some people. I say every year that "Next year I dont wanna do gifts" but it happens anyways. I dont like the crowds, and everybody whining about this not being in stock, and why the store doesnt have more of these... And Then there are the kids who whine because they didnt get enough stuff. In my opinion, we( at least for me) if I want something, I go out and get it( within reason, you know, like a tool or wood or nails or stuff like that). For my son,...well,...if he wants it, he gets it...No waiting for anything in his life. Instant gratification.
But, as a bunch of you remember, as far as stuff goes, Christmas was the time to hope and wait for something you've wanted for a long time. And, of course, after Christmas day was over, it was over...
It was a long time before I realized that Christmas was about thanking God for Jesus being born. And This aspect of Christmas is sooo hard to focus on with all the material and worldly attractions going on all around you, Theres tons of people who hate Christmas, mostly because of how its been twisted and mangled to the shape we wanted it to be. Its become ,well, kinda "Bizarre"...Nothing at all like a baby being born out in a cave or barn, who would grow up to give his life up for me and everybody else(Well, that is, if you believe this, like me).
Ok,....I better get off the saopbox before i fall off.
Keep the faith, you guys...Try to make the best of it even though the truth has been coated in candy and sparkles. That all wears away, but the truth of Christmas is still there. Underneath all the glitter there is still a spirit that doesnt want to be forgotten.
