Lost a bunch of pictures

Yesterday while trying to clean up my computer I accidentally lost about 60 photos. Will a "system restore" get them back?

Not really sure about that but it wont hurt to try. I know there are a few share ware programs you can donwload to recover photos, ive usd them to keep pictures back off of hard drive and a digital camera.

There are many "undelete" programs out there that may help. The sooner the better as the space is now free and will get overwritten eventually.

It's been my experience that with win XP, system wont restore the files, just the "folders"..........which are empty after the restore.
An "undelete" program would be better i guess, i dont have one, so my losses were permenent.
