Mark and Becky's bailout poll

With all the talk of "revolution" in this country, I thought it would be interesting to see how many of you would write T. Bone Pickens for president. Mr. Pickens is a sponsor and advocate for wind farms and alternative fuels to reduce America's dependency on foreign oil. What do you think?

Oh, why not? At least he isn't a politician, and he's a different face, he can't possibly do worse than the two bozo's that are already running.

i am with the "why not?" vote. there is more to the future than how we run our cars and lights. where does he stand on defense, government intervention in private enterprise, taxes, etc.....
if all we were voting on is future power sources, he'd be my man.

Actually I put this poll up just for fun. The reality is I don't have much faith in politicians anymore. I figured "why not?". I just hope they didn't really screw the pooch by approving that bailout plan. It started out as 3 pages and is now many many many more. Leave it to the politicians to make sure they take care of their lobbyists.

I am a T. Boone Pickens fan. I didn't even think about putting him in as a write-in, but now that the idea has been put into my head, guess what. Better than the other idiots who are running. Anyway, his plan seems to make sense and I think it's worth while to research it if you haven't done so. The only fault I find in it is getting people onboard. You're going to see a lot of disagreement (money thinking for people instead of brains). I also wonder about where all those windmills are going to go. Do we have room for them? Last thing...T. Boone is an oil tycoon. Is this a way for him to be a tycoon in another energy company or is this a legitimate concern? The almighty dollar rules in the end so I think there's an monetary motive, but it's all good since it helps the U.S. right? Hmmm...
