As I love coffee (and roast my own) I got a little different view of the Africanized honeybee after reading this "(CNN) -- If you're grateful each morning for the tasty, eye-opening buzz you get from your coffee, then you might have a "killer" bee to thank. Coffee plants (coffea arabica) are capable of self-pollination, so for a long time researchers did not think insects made much difference to the crop. But studies now show that when Africanized bees (or killer bees) pollinate coffee plants, yields can increase by more than 50 percent. Now if I find an article about some wonderful thing that yellow jackets do, will everybody stop slamming them too? I've been trying to intimate for weeks now ( every time someone slams yellow jackets or mosquitos or something ) that God made everything on the earth for a purpose and if we go trying to wipe out a species just because we don't like that it bites or stings us, we're gonna upset a much bigger apple cart here than we mean to! Oh by the way I love that one in the " did you ever wonder " list that says " why didn't Noah swat those first two mosquitoes?"

And the purpose for the "yellow jackets or mosquitos or something" was put on the earth for us to swat.

Oh, ok. I thought maybe it was AFB, and light you up refered to the burning of the hives. It's terrible when you have to explain your jokes to dense people isn't it!

Hey Jay, Or now should it be Jay#1? It's funny that I was going to add swatting them critters would be excercise but then you would have been right about them having a purpose. So I didn't. And darn it, he caught it anyway.
