Have to secure the bees, we are just dying to evacuate so we can go to the country!!!
Just hope we have a house to come back to, house has never flooded so keeping fingers crossed.

Yeah, I hear about Gustav. Heard it might hit New Orleans with the same force as Katrina did. How's the Levee's? Hope you have a bathing suit or a boat tethered in the yard.

If you need a place to stay JP, head up and over to E. TN... we've got a spare bedroom and a couch we can offer you... I won't lie, the couch isn't very comfortable.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and offers!!!
My wife had surgery today, she could have rescheduled but we decided (mostly her) to go forward with it, she's doing surprisingly well.
If the hurricane comes we will evacuate to our property with our three dogs.

Good luck, my friend! I'll be watching the weather channel. I know you wont have to come as far as my house to get away, but if you do you can come to my house  I can borrow a camper trailor for you and your wife....And whats 3 more dogs??? And we'll have fun!  We could go fishing and you can have all the fish( I dont have any more room in my fish freezer) My wifes alotta fun too! Ok, I will keep you guys updated but the latest is that a high pressure system will kick out, allowing Gus to go further west, hope it does, keeping fingers crossed.
Thanks again for the kind words and proposals and I hope to meet several of our forum members in the near future, still on to go to Bud's on the 11th as long as the weather cooperates.

Yes, Annette, Big Daddy, we are having a small get together including Dallas, Allen Buckley (who will be showing us some queen rearing tricks). I'm not gonna eat chitlins though, unless Bud twists both my arms, feet, ankles, nose, etc... This morning things look more probable we will get something from Gustav, tonite/tomorrow morning will be decision time, besides I hate to drive in heavy traffic, with three dogs, nonetheless!!! ...JP |

Probably gonna get the mandatory evacuation order if not tomorrow night, early Sunday.
We will most likely be on the road Sunday morning unless something decisive occurs but uncertainty is on the menu, just hope we have a house to come back to.
