Wow, I did not know they take suggestions. Also would they do demonstration type movies like these?

Fabulous list - they do documentaries and other travel guide type videos - I'm sure they COULD carry these, but will they....great idea to suggest it. Maybe others of us who are subscribers could also write to them echoing your letter.

I dont know about the demonstration type movies. Yes, that would be great tillie. I hope everyone on here that has a subscription to Netflix will copy and paste this list of movies and send it to them along with any others you think of. All you have to do is go to the bottom of the Netflix page once you get logged on and then click on contact us, then go down to the heading where it says request and suggestions and click title request and then all the titles that i have listed along with yours and send it to them. Maybe if enough people write to them they might actually get some better movies that every beekeeper can enjoy. Great thinking tillie

I do a "beekeeping" search on Netflix at least once a month hoping something will show up - it never occurred to me to ASK them!
I will def send an email similar to yours. Thanks.

Is NetFlix working out for everyone? I have not joined . . . . figured that I don't need stuff getting lost in transit and the resulting bill when it is not logged as returned. Tell me how you like the outfit???

I LOVE netflix - I've rarely had a problem - an occasional bad movie that wouldn't play - they replaced it immediately. Once a movie never arrived. They sent another as soon as I notified them and then the first one arrived the same day. There are no late fees so I don't worry about getting the movie back "in time" and they are always cooperative.
I even manage movies for my parents in Mississippi and set up their queue - they never know what they are getting and I have such fun figuring out movies my mother would like to watch (she had to turn off Raising Arizona in the middle of it because she couldn't stand it when they left the baby in the car seat on top of the car!)

The only problem ive had is with the Nova bee movie, it took a week to get here but well worth it, usually they get here in 3 days from the time i send it out to the time i get it. This is great if all of you e-mail netflix im sure they will have to get some of these movies, then we can take turns renting them. Thanks Jordan

netflix works smoothly. they are prompt to correct any problems. my only objection is the delay in getting dvd's when there's postal holidays. it seems to make it take an extra 2 days even thought its just a one day holiday.

I am a total Netflix junkie. I don't do television commercials and I don't have premium channels so the only way I get to see any TV (without purchasing a TiVo) is waiting for the season to come out on DVD.
I have been a member for at 4 years and have only had 2 movies go missing. Netflix really only makes it "your" problem if it is something that happens repeatedly. I had one indie disc I really wanted to see - 5 times they sent a disc to me and 5 times it got cracked in the mail. I was very upset that they would think I was trying to ruin all their stock of that movie and emailed them - they pretty much said that the producer had used crap DVDs and that was why they were breaking and I shouldn't worry about it. I finally got a disc that I could view - I kinda wished it had broken, too....not the best I ever saw - especially after all the trouble.
I really love the "instant view" they now have. The instant view options are not necessarily the very best movies but there are certainly selections that are fun to veg out to. (Like the NewsRadio series - it's still funny!)
The only real problem is getting you folks to NOT tell me what is happening on Weeds this season...
I sent my bee-mail to them - hopefully they will get a few discs.

Netflix has worked very well for me for 8 years now. Only 2 movies arrived not playable and of course they replace them immediately. I just love being able to make my own list.
I love period pieces and there are enough period pieces to last me a lifetime on netflix.

If anyone's still working on Netflix, I'm trying to get "Natural Beekeeping" in there. Showing my father Jerry Dunbar, 40 year bee vet, demonstrating his methods and trying to encourage more people into the hobby.
Trailer(s) and some of the content is on his honeyfarm blogspot (listed in my profile).
After reading the bylaws on this forum I might be treading close to the line of advertising, and if so, sorry...
