W0SNJ, I don't do much HF work, just when someone needs help on a contest.
I love the weak signal work VHF+, 1.2G sideband is awesome.
Mostly its 2m, and 6m SSB.

2m SSB is probably my favorite, the antenna is small and the range is still good, although I probably have more 6m equipment.

I really need CW to be more competitive in the VHF contests, I just never seem to get around to it.

I love 2 and 6 meter SSB!!!  I had a little MFJ-9406 for 6m a few years back and it was a blast!  Never know what 6 meters will do!!!

I was the only tech with my group back at field day 1999, so they had me man the 2m SSB station.  That was a riot!  I've always wanted to get a 2 meter ssb rig after that but never got around to saving for one.  I've never operated anything higher than 70cm FM.  1.2 ssb sounds cool!

1.2G is dead silent, none of the noise you normally have on the bands.
Our station is just a few miles north of Trenton, NJ, and we can make contacts from Virginia to just below Maine.
Its the sound of the band, that you just fall in love with.
