I'll start, your days are long, you have no idea how many hrs you work in a week, your clothes, your hair, your shoes are often covered in honey by the time you hit the front door to call it a day.

Feel free to join in.

you sit on a log suspended over a stream w/ chainsaw in one hand, a hive on your lap and you still answer phone when wife calls, resluting in getting stung on eye-again! That was last nites removal. Yikes.

Yes, the honey just sucks when it gets all over you, like always.

You automatically assume the "swarm" the lady wants you to come get is an established colony inside the tree.   Possibly bearding.  Depending on the exact description given over the phone.

When you finally realize that most people are completely ignorant and stupid and cant tell the difference between a honeybee, bumblebee, yellowjacket and an elephant's rearend. shocked

When the first questions you have to ask on the phone is "Are they bright yellow or are they fuzzy and tannish?  Are there 10 per second coming and going or 1 per second?"

This is one of my favorites, I can always tell when there's a hive nearby cause they are investigating my truck, not merely one or two bees but at least say 6-10 bees.

Your truck starts looking like a storage shed on wheels from all the equipment needed to perform all the different types of removals in all sorts of different places.

You carry a veil in the back of your Honda, so you never again have to drive with bees crawling on your face after you catch a swarm in a paper bag.

You carry a military surplus mosquito net along with the driving gloves in your hip pocket.

You have at least one full bodied suit, probably a golden bee, jackets and veils, and just veils for catching swarms. You own at least one bee vac.
