In the last three years I have come to think Santa is a bee keeper. He sure seems to know just what this bee keeper wishes he had at the right time and delivers.
Christmas 2002 Santa brought all the small gear a beginner would need like a smoker, helmit and veil, gloves, hive tool, and a book on bee keeping by John Vavain.
Christmass 2003 Santa brought two deep hive bodies, two Illinois super bodies, twenty frames for each, a frame grip tool and a bee brush.
Christmas 2004 Santa brought 25 pounds of sugar, 50 frames, half for deep hive bodies, half for the Illinois super size. A spare hive tool, spare pigskin gloves with the long cuff, 50 frame rest for 10 frame deeps.
