Message to the residents of Iowa and surrounding areas

We are aware of your plight and we all feel your pain. Reports of the flooding and its affects have been on our nightly news for a week or so.

Mother nature throws these things at us from time to time, you will survive you always have, you always will. Thats the way of the USA: Strength will overcome!

Moral support is all I/we can offer from this distance.

All I can say is that I know the boldness and courage of the American people will rise to the fore during this crisis, as has done in the past and will do so in the future.

If there is something I can do for you from this distance, Ill do it.

I am sad for you that have suffered, but I am confident this crisis will one day be seen as a challenge that was overcome by unity.
