my dad used to tell of my uncle and cousin roping a cow elk one summer and how they nearly lost 2 good quarterhorses when my cousin missed the heels, guess they had almost 300 stitches between horses and cowboys and lost a good rope

Oh my gosh, I have now read that story 4 times. Still has the same effect. Lots of tears, uncontrolled laughing and such.
I so wish that we had a video!!!!!
That would be a $10K video for sure!!
