Believe it or not, I have had some health issues these past few months which has forced me to eat healthier.
I have given up chocolate, caffeine, citrus fruits, tomatoes, carbonated beverages, spicy foods and fried foods.Also much smaller portions several times a day.
No choice in this matter, had to do this. I have a hiatal hernia, which is a bummer. Part of my stomach pushes up into my esophagus when I eat and all the acids end back up into my esophagus. I ended up in the Emergency Room last month because of this.
Since being on this new diet, I have lost 10 lbs and counting. I miss my foods, but want to feel better. I am slowly getting better, but very slowly.
Eating very simply now, steamed veggies, grains, salads. Just nothing on that list above.
