JP, that is interesting, I have heard many people talk about the scent from asparagus as it leaves the body, hee, hee.  I always wondered why some people are affected and others not.  I have not ever noticed this myself, but my Husband does, and others I hear too.  Strange.  Beautiful most wonderfullest day, Cindi

I thought everyone's pee smelled funny after eating asparagus, you must be some strange exception to the rule, ok perhaps we should do a poll?

Getting back to BBQ veggies...Use a skewer, like with a shiskabob, and baste with your favorite sauce or seasoning.

I bought two large eggplants tonite and will be doing the BBQ thing shortly, will let y'all know how it turns out.

Brian, you ever do eggplant on skewers? I was thinking of slicing them and putting them in foil basted with olive oil and BBQ sauce, think that will turn out ok?

Okay I am sure this next question will make some of the truly good natural food eaters cringe but hey you might be able to direct me in the right direction

If you had to eat fast food where would you go and what would you eat?

I am in a situation where breakfast and supper I usually eat pretty healthy. But, for lunch it is usually a buffet or Mcdonalds Wendys or something like that. There is a subway but it is 20 mins from my office unless I am having a slow day I don't have time to make it over there

So, what do yall think?

I get the 7 layer burrito from taco bell and add guacamole to it, I love popeye's red beans and rice, I ask for little rice, suishi bars usually have something for everyone, Wendy's and McDonald's have salads and potatoes and it wouldn't kill you to a bring your lunch now and again.

Buffets are fine if you are selective and don't overeat, but they do require lots of willpower!!

keith13, take your lunch with you.  yogurt and a banana would be good.  even if you can't refrigerate, yogurt would be fine from home 'til lunch.

Keith  Bringing your own lunch puts you more in control, is also cheaper & gives you more time to eat & relax or whatever @ lunchtime. Kathy's suggestion is great!  I would add a sandwich, my fav is good old pbj, no refridgeration needed, whole grain
bread.  Doesn't even matter if it gets smushed!  Cheese will also keep for a few hours, whole grain crackers. A salad w/oil & vin base dressing. There are lunch packs w/ice dealies.  Any fruit that can be carried whole is good, oranges, apples, kiwi, peaches, pears (these bruise very easily.. angry)grapes. Lots of variety is the best!  Good Luck!  Jody

Never developed a taste for eggplant, but will eat it when I have to.  I'd rather eat Zucchini--cook it the same way as Eggplant but not as mushy and better raw than eggplant.

I'm not positive on this but if you eat raw eggplant it could make you sick. Man I do love eggplant, fried eggplant with parmesan cheese, eggplant parmesan, eggplant casserole, etc...

Love eggplant too.  Am lazy though, just spray w/pam or dip in water, roll in (spicy)breadcrumbs, sprinkle w/parmasan & bake till tender.  Doesn't take long  & not as much fat as frying + just toss the tinfoil away, no washing!  cool  Thinking I could even bake in BBQ, might try it.  Jody

Hey Fellers,

Fast food?  hhhhmmm We have a Semi- fast food restaurant here that used to be called "McDharma's".  A local small "Mom & Pop" vegetarian/vegan place...McDonald's had a fit and they had to change their name to 'Dharma's...best Kitchari in town!
