True, so I'll be walking a bit more. Nonetheless, I think tickling your taste buds once in awhile is good. Once your system adjusts to a different mode its hard to over do or revert, especially if you feel better and have more energy. The soda was the hardest thing for me to kick. I was drinking 3 - 4 24oz bottles of Mt. Dew a day. Gatorade now in a lesser quantity. Have a good day. David

David I have a friend that is an extreme high energy type, that's fit as a fiddle that stocks a full refrigerator in his garage with mountain dew, you would think he worked for the company! The only soft drink if you can call them that I get from whole foods its a green tea soda with much less sugar than things like coke, and I mix it with Kombucha green and a touch of agave syrup, its really good and healthy for you. Since I began this post I've cut out all soft drinks and sweets. I think I was hungry all the time mainly from the excessive amounts of sugars in the soft drinks I was whaling down. I rarely have cravings of any type now, except maybe for lima beans, I can't seem to get enough of 'em. ...JP

As far as soft drinks go... diet orange and diet sprite taste the same as regular. Diet Dr. Pepper isn't too bad either.

The only artificial sweetener I can stomach is sweet n low. Now, I rarely ever use artificial sweeteners but yrs ago my wife and I were drinking lots of coffee and I would use it. One day it tastes bitter to me as if some weird trigger kicked in. Went off it a week and tried it again and it was sweet again, this happened one other time, it was downright weird, and no it wasn't a bad batch, had two other people try it. Something just ain't right about putting something continuously in your body that is artificial, something's just got to give, my .02. ...JP

You took the words right out of my mouth. That is why I just gave up all diet drinks about 2 months ago.

When it comes to most others, I agree, but I bet you can't taste the difference between regular and diet orange soda.

Don't drink pop, pure water instead...and lots of it. Water will dilute toxins.
