this is the best time of the year up here.  as a S. CA gal, i have a  hard time with all the green.  it's just to much!  the spring has great colour and breaks up all the green

great pictures!
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

Kathy, It was just jaw dropping for me. Everywhere we went, blooms and colors...Hawthorne trees, Dogwood, Iris, Tulips, Lilac, growing like weeds.

We drove to Galice, along the Rogue River, over to Sunny Valley... it was heavenly.

Sharon, ooh, pictures, I love to see the pictures, be grateful that we have those eyes to see, and so many thanks for sharing these lovelies with us.  Great day in this greatest of lives.  Cindi
