Boys and Girls Ladies and Gents here we go year 4. I figure we can't let this thread go it has worked out the last 3 years, at least one of us ended up in the finals. It should be a good run barring anything crazy we should all be seated well. I guess no one wants to run into a surging 8 or 7 seed Anaheim and the Rangers are making strong runs. But I see the pins are streaking at the right time as well. Philly and the wings seem to be coasting to the playoffs I hate that.  Good Luck to all it should be a great run.

We will be there as always.   We were doing so well then as always they start getting tired/lazy at the end.  I keep on watching but have to admit sometimes its hard.   Playoffs always kick it back in high gear

Keith
are you voting for the ultimate leader contest?   Your man Mike Richards is in the 1st round today.  He is ahead by 20% at this time and should go up against Ryan Kesler in the 2nd round.  Crosby is not in the voting.  Lidstom is up against Eric Staal in the 2nd

Wing are playing hard but so are the sharks.  They've had the lucky bounces so far.  I made a batch of Redwing beer for the playoffs.  Its a light ale that I add 2 beets to the last 5 minutes of the boil.  It went from straw color to blood red.  Its going on 2 weeks, is done fermenting and is settleing out now.  Wings need to win the next 2 so I have alittle more time to clear and force carbinate. Cheers

redwing / sharks game six was one of the best playoff hockey games I have ever watched.   Shot on goal were 45  wings 25 sharks total with 18 to there 6 in the 1st period.   Coming back from a 3 game deficit has only happened 3 other times in history with the wings being part of the 1st time in 1945.   Bring on game 7!!!!   GO WINGS

Were going on the 4th year for this thread.  Andy the author seems to have disapeared.   You (Keith) and I got to pick up the load.   I have no doubt that we will both be here next year.
PS I did crack a smile when the Penguins lost

yeah me too!! but really injuries hurt the pens this year. Typical problems for the Flyers this year..................goaltending same problem different year. Bobby Clark as a GM I like but my god he cannot evaluate a goaltender.

Keith
41 point in 29 games very impressive!!   Were just a win behind.

Redwings have smashed the 20 home game winning streak record that was made in 1937 by Boston and tyed by Philly in the mid 70s.  Record for the time being is 23 wins and they aren't done yet.
