Alright Bassman we can take a few breaths again. I need a few days to let my fingernails grow back. The Ducks were tough right to the end. I thought you guys would surly get Boston and I never thought the Hawks would come this far. So how long are you going to make Keith keep his new avitar

I was pretty confident Boston wasn't going to make it. They are after all, from Boston. Detroit will run over Chicago I think . I expect no more than a 5 game series between the two but wouldn't be surprised at all if it only lasted 4. Hopefully Pittsburgh can put Carolina away pretty quickly too. I don't think it will go past game 6. Those are my predictions and I'm sticking to it. Keith gets to keep is avatar for one month unless his true inner-self kicks in and he realizes how much of a Penguins fan he really is. Then he can keep it indefinitely.

I'm in North Carolina and I'm surprised hardly anyone here knows who the hurricanes are. I'm from Minnesota were hockey is big, but here the think the hurricanes are some small college basketball teem or something. Go canes

Yeah baby looks like my Redwings are going to win it Boy, is the wife pee'd I keep telling her there is always next year. I am not counting the hawks out yet. The first 2 games have been really hard fought and incredibly close, one bounce either way and it could have been 2-0 hawks. The hawks have a gigantic mountain to climb but I wouldn't count them out just yet Keith

Nah....just haven't had a chance. I am not counting the hawks out yet. The first 2 games have been really hard fought and incredibly close, one bounce either way and it could have been 2-0 hawks. The hawks have a gigantic mountain to climb but I wouldn't count them out just yet I counted them out before the series even started. Incredibly close? Did you see the score of game 1? Bassman I cant beleave you didn't go into overtime. That was as close as it gets Honestly I wasn't even worried. They may be more of a test for Pittsburgh than I thought but the Pens wore them down pretty good. Carolina's style of play is so different compared to Washington and Philly. I think whoever wins this series will be all the better going into the Finals because of the way it's being played. If it was Washington or Philly playing Pittsburgh or Carolina in the conference finals, the winner would be worn down pretty good before the Finals.

yeah the score ended up lopsided but the score could have been different if a few bounces went the other way early. Hawks had to change their style of play which opened up their own end to the wings and of course the wings exploited that.

Bassman, Malkin looked good last night I give him that. That last goal he backhanded in was a thing of beauty. Pins seem to be rolling its not to often you see a 7-4 score this late in the cup race.

Yeah, that goal was pretty sick. His first goal was pretty sweet too. Carolina can't match up against Pittsburgh's offense. Check this...Pens' regular season Goals For: 269, Goals Against: 239 Canes' regular season Goals For: 239, Goals Goals Against 226 A 30 point difference in Goals for is pretty significant here. Look at any other team that either of these teams have faced in the post season and you will see that the difference a lot closer. By the way, the team with the highest regular season Goals For is Detroit at 295. 295!!!! That's 21 better than Boston's 274. Sick.
