Meh. What a pathetic performance. If they would have played the whole game like they did the 3rd period, it would have been different. Pens played like crapola. Hats off to Philly's win. They earned that one. At least the next one is in Pittsburgh.

I expect more fireworks for this next game. Malone seemed to have had enough of Hatcher but I don't know if Malone would get the better end of the fight. Hatcher seemed to have gotten some good punches in. I have a feeling there might be some other venting going on too.

malone got his few punches in while someone was holding his arm once Hatcher got it loose the fight definately started going Hatchers way. Hatcher is that old school hockey slow and prodding but don't let him hit ya it will hurt

If it wasn't for 2 obviously very bad calls with a goal we were denied and one they were awarded that have been played over and over again, we would have swept Dallas just like the Aves. We'll be seeing one of you in the final battle

I'm sorry I missed this thread. Obviously w/o their best defensman, they cant keep the big guns at bay. Detroit looked real good in their games. Yes hatcher is too slow, particularly for a first liner as a result of injuries. Hit between the eyes. Couldn't believe it. I have Hi-def TV at was amazing to see the explosion of blood and stuff in slow mo. Very surprised flyers have had as good a season as they did. In the long run, penguins will be a better team for having lost last nite.

yeah it was pretty obvious Coburn had a concussion that was a big shot to the face, def hard to take one of those in stride.
If we could get Kimmo back that would be a hugh boost to thier confidence and power play
