Crosby with the hat trick last night the kid is talented. Now if he could only grow a decent beard.
Give that guy a razor for christ sakes

Keith

lol...no argument from me on that one.  Mike Commadore has the best playoff beard ever, in my opinion.

did you guys see the amasing shot by that 9 year old in Boston?

Yep...saw that.  Pretty slick.  I saw a video of a guy on a college team do one of those moves.

Check this out...

Just trying to figure out the Atlantic
Devils are playing like the teams of old
Flyers are ok they are averaging a goal against better than last year from Pronger and Emery so hope that keeps up
Also they seem to have found a bunch of young scorers up through the minors
I think they should be ok come playoff time

zetterburg can do some amasing things and we signed him for his entire career.  Not sure what I think about these 8 and 10 year contracts.   Things happen.  I was happy was only had Hossa for one season

I haven't really been in the forums too much lately.  Got a baby Penguin on the way and been doing lots of work preparing the house for him.  wink  The Wings might pose a small threat in the West this year, but I am not expecting a deep playoff run for them.  The Pens either if they keep getting hurt all the darn time.  At least we have Gonchar and Talbot coming back tonight supposedly.

He already is!

I don't like them personally.  Rick DiPietro is my case in point.  That guy made bank and hasn't played a full season since.  Has he even played this year?  I want his job.  And he stinks to boot.  I really like one year deals if the team has the priority on matching or beating offers from other teams.  It keeps the player motivated.  Look at how many times we have seen a player have a good couple seasons, make bank, then turn to garbage the remainder of the time.  Not always the case, but it's probably more often than not.

Pens at Sens tonight.  Looking forward to it.

Maybe I have a chance to play for the Wings.  I'll play for them to get in the NHL!

Philly can't compete....they need to move some personnel in a big way.  They won't learn that the Broad Street Bully way of doing things just won't work in this era of the NHL.  Hartnell is a cancer and Carcillo is a clown who shifts momentum to the wrong team.  Seems like they are planning some moves down there though.  Apparently there were a lot of scouts at the game last night.

I want to apologize for Howard, our goalie beating up Crosby, your golden boy.   That just wasn't right.    What a game

I wish I would have been able to see it but that was one of many they blacked out this season.  I can't even tell you the last time I saw a Pens game.  Pre-Olympics, I'll tell you that.

Redwings limped all season.  With up to 9 injuries at a time, a few games there were more AHL player that NHL guys.  They finally got healthy and came back.  We play the coyotes in the 1st round.  Sucks being on eastern time but stuck in the western division.  Three week day games dont start until 10:00PM.   Im to old to stay up that late.   Good luck guys

I don't have much hope for my boys.  I am not even sure why the aren't doing so bad.  Guess we'll see.  At least if they lose in the first round it's not to NJ or Philly.  :-p

So how have the playoffs been going? I haven't been able to watch any games but I have kept up with box scores I pretty much gave up on Philly when they went down 3-0, now I feel like a jacka$$ because of it, especially if they pull off game 7. Danno i saw some of the story lines from your series you had some tough breaks. Did the pins clinch yet or not I havn't seen the scores on them?

Nah, Pens are done.  They lost to Montreal in Game 7.  Philly has one more to go.  New prediction if Philly wins...Philly and San Jose in the Finals.  San Jose wins Cup.  I didn't get to watch too much hockey the past few months and my son and I got to sit down for about 10 minutes of one of the playoff games.  Obviously I watched and cheered for him while he slurped down a bottle.  lol

Thanks a lot!  You know, I really did want to get him some Flyers stuff.  I just couldn't find diapers with Flyer logos on the INSIDE of the diaper, Flyer logo butt wipes, ect.  grin

I didn't watch the game but from the score, it looked like a good one.  I think they are going to be pretty fired up now.  They might be tough to stop and I think Montreal has been overachieving.  Time for them to come back down to earth.
