Welp...we got Washington. Luckily Pens have more rest time. I'm thinking this might be another 6 or 7 game playoff.

gotta tell ya I just don't see the caps as that powerful of a team. You shut ovechkin line down and you should be good. Now shutting ovechkin down will be a monumental task but it is doable

I am not sure what to make of this. Typically it's fairly easy for me to see what the issue is but I can't tell if Varlamov is really playing that good, getting lucky or what. Pens are getting plenty of chances but can't finish. Washington is giving them lots of room, which I like. TBH, I think a lot of the goals Fleury let in, he should have stopped. Ovechkin should have been held to 1 goal tonight. David Steckel is playing well for Washington. I think getting back to the Igloo is what the doctor ordered, but they still need to win in Washington. I didn't think the Caps would make it easy for the Pens but the Pens aren't helping things either.

the puck wasn't bouncing for us for a couple of games but the wings really spanked them last night. 2 down and 2 to go and were coming back to michigan.

I can't believe Chicago is keeping up with Vancouver! What's more is that Carolina leads Boston, which makes my day as I predicted Boston to lose in this series. Ducks & Detroit are going to beat on each other until the last minute of game 7 I think.  |

To me I will never understand how more people do not follow Hockey. It is the fastest most exciting sport out there. The only thing close is football.

I agree Keith! I think it moves to fast for many to understand. All the rest of the sports, football included seem to slow for me. They spend so much time just standing around waiting for the next play that takes just a few seconds. All the momentum comes to a stop. I dont want to sound racist because I'm not but its the only sport that a 180# short white man can be a star.

I also agree. Another thing too is that people "don't understand it". Probably because they can't see plays breaking out on TV. I think HD TV took care of that but never seeing a hockey game on HD, I can't say for sure. I just remember the announcers saying about being able to see more of the play on HD than normal TV. The NHL is doing a good job at promoting the game.

Should be a great game 7 no matter which way it goes. Seems up and down the playoff tree this year has had great match ups so far. I find it hard to pick a team and say they are getting lucky all teams are solid and playing great hockey.
