Good fine! Im guessing the guy was alergic to bees. I've read stories of people being stung more times and not dying.

I made a comment on this in another thread. The gentleman was allergic to bees.
Sincerely,

I like doing cut-outs, but I love catching swarms!

Yep, they determined it was a hybrid, not Ahb.

Have I misunderstood something?
I thought AHB stood for Africanized Hybrid Bee.

AHB == Africanized Honey Bee
Africanized refers to hybrid.

Just more bad press. Everyone reading will only remember "KILLER BEES." Since getting our hives, which are a hundred yards from the house, we've already had one couple to say they wouldn't be coming back as long as we have bees. No amount of talk could convince them different.

If I get a cornealon Queen and raise queens from that queen and they
mate with Italian drones then they are hybrid and will be more aggressive the the original ones.
African bees were and are aggressive. as in "killer bees"
The off spring from the cross between African and European is the Africanized Hybrid.( again called Killer Bees)
But I guess all of you already knew this.
