Hooked on Phonics

5-year old Tommy is learning to read.
Yesterday he pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said

"Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!"

His mother took a deep breath, then asked..."What did you call it?"

"It's a frickin' elephant!   It says so on the picture!"

And so it does...

And then he see's a newspaper article about a guy running for President who's a frickin' American!
