Jerry, you are a sensitive man, I can feel that. Funny how these things go, I actually saw JP's link to the MD line and yours was directly below his. I responded to his because it came first, I am sorry that you, for that fleeting moment in time, thought that I was responding to your post and calling you his name. That is not a good thing, to call someone by another's name. You know what happened here, case of mistaken identity, hee, hee. Nope Jerry, not annoyed, not anything, I can see where you were coming from though. I feel badly that you lamented over this for so long, you must have felt badly, and that is not a good thing either. There was and is nothing to forgive, you have done NOTHING wrong, be assured. All is just fine, Jerry, you are my friend too.
I have been very busy with some stuff around here, too busy for words and my poor Husband. Eeks!!! He has had some terrible times the past two days, they say that things go in three, I surely do hope not.
To make two long stories really short, Friday my Husband was having some steak and eggs for breakfast. I had said something to him that really peed him right off, (sometimes I don't know when to shut my mouth). He proceeded to finish cooking his breakfast and a few minutes later came out to tell me that he had a piece of steak stuck in his esophagus, not his throat, he could still breath and talk, but he couldn't get anything to go down his lower part of the throat. Eeeks!!!! So I phoned the ambulance and they took him to the hospital. I finished up getting all the kids out the door and then was preparing to go and meet him there. He phoned and said that the meat had gone through, oh brother. Thankin' my lucky stars that it wasn't in his throat whereby he couldn't breath. That turned out to be a good day.
Now today we were working together outside. We had some metal roofing that he was putting up on something. I was working out near the chickens. Next thing I see my Husband walking towards me with his hand on top of his head. He called me, and said that he might need stitches. Eeeks!!! Here we go again. I went to him and I could see blood running down the side of his face, really badly. I am calm when this type of injury and trauma occurs. I told him to follow me quickly to the house, which we did. I took him in the bathroom and had a cool cloth ready for when he removed his hand. I looked briefly. Yep, gonna need stiches. I soaked a new and clean cloth with colloidal silver water and put that on the top of his head, briefly wiping the blood from his face and off to the care clinic we did go.
He had bumped his head on the end of one of the sheet metal when he had stood up after putting something down, he forgot how tall he is, I think he forgets this many times, hee, hee, he is always banging up his poor shaven head. Eeeks. He says that he needs to put a frame around the metal so this doesn't happen again......really I say?
The care clinic had no one there so he was attended to immediately. Now in the room, the doctor took off the cloth and said, yep, gonna need stitches. Now this is where I butt out. I told the doctor that I would have to leave the room now or he would be looking after me too. I told him I know what he is going to do, and this is the stuff that I cannot deal with, eeks!!! needles, sewing up flesh, not for this girl, no way. I left the room and awaited my Husband's return.
He had 9 stiches, the gash was kind of in the shape of an elongated U, kind of a flap, eeeks!! this is almost making me sick, gross. He is well, his head is sore and he is relaxing. He has been snoozing off and on, I am working on my laptop, taking care of him by providing my presence, to make him feel loved and cared for, he loves this when I just hang around him, it must bring him great comfort, he is very lightly snoring and he is healing. The bandage the doctor put on his head was huge, it looked like he had open brain surgery or something like that (maybe he needs this, hee, hee, why else would he smack his head on that metal roofing? Hmmm). I am now wondering if I should baby him tomorrow, so he doesn't go and hurt himself again, after choking on his food, I think I must have been such a bad girl and made him more teed of than he was letting on.
We are in daylight savings time now, as of last night, so I am a little up in the air with the time thing. I will stay up a little bit later than I usually do because I have gained an hours sleep last night. Have a beautiful and wonderful, safe day, great night. Cindi
