Here's a sign of springtime for us - our first blossom from the Valentines Day Orchid:
This time-lapse video was filmed over two days and one full night. The flower was near the west window, so the lighting changes quite a bit through the day, but you get the idea. Enjoy...

That is cool, so is your other stuff. I particularly like the commentary from your wife on the swarm capture, "we have absolutely no idea what we're doing." That was just too funny, keep 'em coming.

Thanks JP. We both feel terribly inadequate about the responsibility we have assumed for our hives. With the one hive we lost this winter, and the struggles we had last year it reminds us how much we have yet to learn. We've been on the waiting list of the local Extension Course for new beekeepers for 2 years now... But this forum and the experts here have always been a big help. I am never too proud to ask for help or ask the dumb questions.
