Well, I took pictures but they didn't come out well at all, I guess when they suggest you steady the camera you should actually steady the camera!  I was happy to even be able to see it, they had predicted clouds, all we had were occasional high thins. |

We watched the eclipse, but the real "star" of the show for us was Saturn!! I don't think I've ever seen the rings before, and through our cheapo telescope they were easy to see.
It was a bit too frigid outside to really enjoy it, though....

Looked beautiful from where I live. Got nice and red, then disappeared almost instantly!
One of the nice things about having a laptop is I just set myself up outside with a warm jacket and talked to people on chat while watching the eclipse.

Ooooh, that was a beautiful night, we watched the eclipse, the night was cool, but not overly cold. I also watched it as it came out of the shadow of the earth, that was just as beautiful. I took some pictures with my camera on "twilight", turned out kind of OK, I think that you can kind of see a sliver of the moon or something. It was a lovely sight to see that beautiful red glow of the moon when the moon was shadowed, loved it.....have a beautiful and wonderfully awesome day, Cindi  |
