1frozenHillbilly. My heart goes out to you and your Brother and all the family and friends that will mourn the death of this child. Why do the young get taken from us? I do not and never will understand this.....it breaks my heart. There are no words on earth that can console, the healing comes from within, and that never completely occurs. Again, my heart is broken. The only words that I can muster at this time is to keep your chins up, cry and cry some more, that relieves pain from the soul. Still, try to find something to make this day a little bit brighter for you and yours. Cindi

There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold. The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold. The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee. Robert Service

Usually God takes angels. There is a sentence in this song that says: "At midnight star will come to keep you company" (cada noche vendrá una estrella a hacerte compañÃa)

"Nay, it [this constitution of government] must perish, if there be not that vital spirit in the people, which alone can nourish, sustain, and direct all its movements. It is in vain, that statesmen shall form plans of government, in which the beauty and harmony of a republic shall be embodied in visible order, shall be built up on solid substructions, and adorned by every useful ornament, if the inhabitants suffer the silent power of time to dilapidate its walls, or crumble its massy supporters into dust; if the assaults from without are never resisted, and the rottenness and mining from within are never guarded against. Who can preserve the rights and liberties of the people, when they shall be abandoned by themselves? Who shall keep watch in the temple, when the watchmen sleep at their posts? Who shall call upon the people to redeem their possessions, and revive the republic, when their own hands have deliberately and corruptly surrendered them to the oppressor, and have built the prisons, or dug the graves of their own friends?
– Justice Joseph Story, "Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States," Volume II, Chapter XIII: Mode of Passing Laws, Sections 900-901, pp. 364 (1833)

Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try." So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin. If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it. (unknown)

My prayers for the family also.
Losing a child, I think, is the hardest. You know, down deep, you'll lose your older loved ones eventually. But you feel it's your job to protect your children and when you can't, the pain is even deeper.

again thank you all for your prayers and condolences, we held the services today and laid logan to rest with his grandfather and great grandparents at the family plot, i was unable to attend my fathers funeral and this trip was the first time i was able to see the beautiful place where they rest. the family is comforted by the support of family, friends and people like you all who barely know who we are through my time here on beemaster. i wouldn't feel comfortable shareing our grief anywhere else on the net though i will put a note in my own yahoo 360 blog later this week. again thank you all

Frozen, may little Logan rest in peace. Sometimes life seems unfair and events like this are unexplainable. It sounds like He was surrounded by love, and always will be. My condolences again.
Sincerely, JP

1FrozenHillbilly. Again I give my sadness for you and yours. The fact that you can express your grief on our forum and feel comfortable in so doing, I know brings joy to us all. It is times like this when we need that outlet, where we can express our grief and heal. You have found that place, you know that, you have expressed that. Stick with us. We may help more to keep your chin up. Logan is in a good place. Do have a wonderful day, Cindi
